Cala Ratjada, is a beautiful resort, a medieval style decorated town and still active fishing port situated on the north-east coast of Majorca, in the Municipality of Capdepera, about 80 km. from the capital Palma de Mallorca.
The resort has a great location together with the other resort Cala Agulla on the opposite of the cap. The resort welcomes thousands of tourist every year with its fine sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.
Cala Ratjada has all the necessary tourist services. There are variety of nice hotels and apartments to choose from. There also nice restaurants, bars, shops and leisure activities at the beach promenade of this beautiful beach resort.
Things to Do & See
Holidaymakers may walk from the Cala Ratjada harbour along the Pedestrian Promenade to Son Moll and enjoy the scenery and the resorts lively atmosphere. Arta and Capdepera are the nearby towns to visit and see. Top things to do and see include;

As for beaches, the Son Moll beach is the main beach of the town. Son Moll beach is a 149 x 55 m. small fine sandy beach.
Cala Gat beach is the other beach nearby which is more smaller than Son Moll, 40 x 20 m. If you head through north, than you may also find fine sandy beaches at Cala Guya, Cala Agulla and Cala Mesquida.
Cala Agulla beach is a good beach of 520 x 50 m.
As for shopping, every Saturday morning at the Placa del Pins in Cala Ratjada, a traditional Saturday street market is held and holidaymakers are able to find variety of local food, fruit, vegetables, clothes and crafts.
Capdepera has a Wednesday street market. and Arta has a Tuesday street market nearby Cala Ratjada.
As for nightlife, holidaymakers may find variety of nice bars and nightclubs in Cala Ratjada and enjoy the resort’s lively entertainment and night activities.
Son Moll beach
Son Moll beach is the main beach of Cala Ratjada. Son Moll beach is a 149 m. long small but fine sandy beach.
Cala Gat beach
Cala Gat beach is the other beach of the resort. It is more smaller than the Son Moll beach with 40 m. length.
Cala Agulla beach
Cala Agulla beach is a good beach of 520 x 50 m. located on the north of Cala Ratjada.
