Soller (Port de Soller or Puerto de Soller), is the only resort situated on the north-west coast of Majorca, in the Municipality of Soller, in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range, about 28 km. from the capital Palma de Mallorca and 35 km. from Palma de Mallorca Airport.
Soller is the beautiful inland town and Port de Soller is the coastal resort with a distance of 3 km. From Sóller, you may continue to Port de Sóller either by tram or by car. The port is a must see and a natural haven in the mountains.
Port de Soller welcomes thousands of tourist every year with its fine sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. This tramway between Soller and Port de Soller which is called “Orange Express” is the only working tram on Majorca. There is also beautiful tunnel “Tunnel de Soller” that joins Soller to Port de Soller.
